My fears were, of course, allayed as we saved our season and ensured we stayed in the Premier League for the
rest of 2014 with four tremendous results last February.
With Manchester United, Southampton, Spurs and Palace coming up this February, I’m not expecting anywhere near the 12 points we picked up a year ago but I believe these fixtures will go a long way to seeing
how far we’ve come.
It might sound odd but I’m still undecided as to whether or not I’d be pleased to see West Ham in the Europa League next season.
Sure, it would be great to see European football at the Boleyn Ground for our final season there but as other clubs have found to their peril, could it lead to us being overstretched and relegated ahead of or after our move to the Olympic Stadium?

A huge thanks to Ronnie Boyce for allowing us to interview him for this issue. It was an absolute pleasure to sit next to him at the King’s Lynn Irons Club Christmas meal. A firm favourite to many of you, he was what I’d hope he would be like and much more.
