A huge thank you to everyone who got in touch on Twitter, Facebook, and by email with such kind words about our August issue. I’m still trying to get my head around the fact that one in five people watching the Juventus friendly had a copy of Blowing Bubbles in their hand.
It was a very proud moment for us but there wasn’t a lot of time to celebrate before we turned our attention to our September issue. There have been so many talking points so early in the season and our wonderful team of writers have really worked their magic once again.
A huge thank you to David Gold for once again agreeing to be interviewed by Blowing Bubbles. It’s the fifth season he has taken time out of his busy schedule to chat about all things West Ham and as always, he never shirked away from the awkward questions.
My thanks also to Olympic gold medallist Susannah Townsend for catching up with us shortly after landing back in the UK. Congratulations on your gold medal.
I’m very excited about watching us play this month. We’ve not had the best start to the season but it was always going to be tough to match the draw at Chelsea and victory at Manchester City that we achieved last campaign.
With the amount of injuries we’ve had, three points against Bournemouth was a must. These are the games that are going to have a huge impact on how well we do. We’ve got three of them this month and I cannot wait for a Super September.
